Donguri Mama, with her adorable little bun. A charming wooden toy that toddles down a slope with a soft "koto-koto" sound.
– Features –
- A cute shape topped with a perfectly round bun. She's the same size as the regular Donguri Korokoro, so she rolls down the slope at a standard speed.
- Children's hand movements are still less developed than adults', and their hands can be slippery with sweat — but Donguri Mama's rounded form is easy for small hands to grip firmly.
- As she rolls down the slope, the glass ball knocks against the wood and makes a pleasant "koto-koto" sound — a feature shared across the whole Donguri Korokoro series.
- The paint and glue comply with Japanese and international safety standards and are safe even if licked (see the FAQ below for details).
Her body size and weight are almost the same as the regular Donguri Korokoro, with the bun on top of her head as an accent. Tilt the base just slightly to make a slope, and she will sway from side to side as she charmingly makes her way down. Any flat, board-like material works for the slope — a tray, a serving tray, or even a picture book will do.
The recommended age is 3 years and up. Her movement is slow, so if an adult moves her for them, even children at the crawling stage can enjoy watching together.
We also recommend displaying her side by side with "Donguri Papa" in his top hat, or giving the two as a pair. They are chosen as gifts for loved ones, such as for weddings and new babies. Every time you see the two of them side by side, they'll remind you of the warm feelings behind the gift — making them a wonderful present for a special anniversary.
